Terms of Service

  • The following items are required to renew a Vehicle Registration:
    • Either your renewal notice or your current vehicle registration
    • Valid credit card backed by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express
    •     Credit Card Pictures
  • Your Vehicle Registration Renewal will include a Service Charge for electronic commerce in accordance with Louisiana Revised Statute 49:316.1.
  • NOTICE: Louisiana Law requires that all vehicles you have registered be currently covered with the required limits of liability insurance or other security as provided under R.S. 32:861 et al.  The law is enforced by civil and criminal penalty.
  • Transactions will not appear until the next business day. Do not attempt to renew multiple times.
  • It can take up to 30 days for a customer to receive a vehicle registration renewal in the mail. If the vehicle registration is not received 30 days from the date of application, the customer must visit a field office within sixty (60) days of application to be eligible for a replacement at no charge.
